    AMR Clearinghouse
    AMR Clearinghouse is an information clearinghouse for Pennsylvania watershed associations, especially those associations dealing with abandoned mine reclamation (AMR) issues.

    Growing Greener is the largest investment of state funds in Pennsylvania which are allocated to addressing environmental concerns. Growing Greener is a faction of Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection.
     
    Inventory of Watershed Training Courses
    EPA's Watershed Academy was formed as part of the Clean Water Action Plan released by the President in February 1998. Its purpose is to assist in the protection of water quality on a watershed basis by offering training courses and developing educational materials. This web site provides one-page summaries of 180 watershed-related training courses offered by federal, state and local agencies, private organizations and universities. If you have information on a watershed-related training course that is not mentioned, you can submit it by filling out a form obtained from the web site.

    The National Wetlands Inventory is a part of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. It provides information on the characteristics, extent, and status of wetlands in the United States.

    Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access provides public access to geographic information about Pennsylvania.
     
    Stream Restoration, Inc.
    Stream Restoration Incorporated is a non-profit organization whose mission focuses on the restoration of streams impacted by abandoned coal mine drainage. For decades, abandoned mine drainage has degraded streams in the eastern United States. Problems associated with abandoned minelands are so extensive that alone neither federal, state, or local governments nor the mining industry nor watershed groups can adequately address the impacts.
